Remainer, Owen Jones has been confronted by yellow vest pro-Brexit protesters today outside Parliament.
Finding inspiration from the French yellow vest protesters, Brexiteers are not also taking a stand and making their voices heard.
Outside Parliament, many are used to seeing pro-EU protesters, such as the infamous Steve, who shouts ‘stop Brexit’ all day every day.
The pro-Brexit yellow vest group closed off roads this weekend in the capital to put their point across.
Today, Gaudian journalist, Owen Jones recorded himself being chased, from the looks of things by the Brexiteers.
The same or similar group have also confronted Conservative backbench MP, Anna SOubry over her pro-EU stance.
Jones uploaded the encounter onto Twitter saying: “Just met some lovely Tommy R fans and I’d love for you to get to know them too”
Owen smiled throughout the confrontation despite being questioned by the yellow vests.
Jones attempted to mock the protesters by saying he was ‘going to go home later and have some lovely roast gammon’.
Gammon is a term used by the left to describe right-wing white people.
In the video, you can clearly see the Police joining Mr Jones and ensuring that no physical harm was to be done to him, or to the yellow vests.
Jones is known for his anti-Brexit views and fully supporters a second EU referendum, despite 17.4 million leave voters demanding we leave the EU back in 2016.
Theresa May’s deal will be voted on this month and many believe that it will be firmly rejected by MPs.
If this is the case, a no deal Brexit will be the default legal position, however, opposition MPs will do all they can to stop this from happening.
